Hyundai Sonata nf
The next generation Hyundai Sonata has arrived. The Hyundai Sonata NF, which
is set to be released in 2005, is Hyundai's response to Honda's Accord Euro and
Toyota's Camry. The Hyundai Sonata NF lands in showrooms with bigger build, better
engine, larger interior room and improved features. The NF Sonata is US$250 million
project that is set to replace the EF model. Hyundai's newest baby took 46 months
to conceptualize, research, design and build.

Two engines will be available, a 2.0-liter and 2.4-liter engine capable of delivering
144 horsepower at 6000 rpm and 166 horsepower at 5800 rpm respectively. It is
said that US-bound models get a bigger 3.0 and 3.5 liter engines. The Hyundai
Sonata NF is Hyundai's biggest bid to claim the top spot dominated by its Japanese
competitors. So far, Hyundai has managed to pull this off quite well as it has
regularly improved on the Hyundai Sonata since its early conception. The NF marks
Hyundai's serious intent to make its mark. The $1 billion assembly plant in Montgomery,
Alabama only confirms how serious the Koreans are.
